John has 17 years of trial experience in both state and federal court. Known for his aggressive style, John has received recognition for being a top trial lawyer. John is also a former prosecutor. During his time as prosecutor, John prosecuted cases ranging from misdemeanor traffic offenses,to DUI to juvenile and all types of felony cases including capital murder. Since 1997, John has represented hundreds of people in a wide range of criminal and traffic matters, DUI's, probation revocations, juvenile matters, misdemeanors, and all types of felonies. John also sits as judge on occasion. In one jurisdiction, John won the highest plaintiff's jury award on behalf of an injured client in 1999. John's focus has become primarily criminal defense, DUI/Traffic, and personal injury cases. John is licensed in all state courts in both Arkansas and Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, the United States 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
John is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The Cobb County Bar Association (Criminal and Family Law sections), The North Fulton County Bar, and the Forsyth County Criminal Defense Bar (President 2009)
